Privacy policy
In short
We collect what you tell us, conversations with our AI assistant (after notice), and cookieless page counts. We don't sell personal information, and mobile numbers and text consent are never shared for marketing. Questions: info@meghoo-consulting.com.
Who we are
Meghoo Consulting, Inc. ("Meghoo", "we") is a consulting company in Glendale, California. This policy covers meghoo-consulting.com, our business phone line (833) 888-0038, and the AI assistant that answers our calls and website chat. Questions about privacy: info@meghoo-consulting.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email, phone number, company and the description you write in a form or say to our assistant.
- Calls and chats with our assistant. Calls are answered by an AI assistant, which says so at the start. Calls are recorded and transcribed so our team can follow up; the assistant tells you this before the conversation starts. We keep the transcript, a short summary, the number you called from, and any appointment, callback or message you asked for.
- Appointments. The day and time you chose and the contact details you gave for the confirmation.
- Text message consent. If you agree on a call to receive a text confirmation, we record your yes or no, with its date, on that call's record.
- Website visits. We count page views without cookies: the page, the referring site, the device type and an approximate city-level location. The location is looked up from your IP address, which is then discarded; we never store IP addresses. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, and Cloudflare's bot check on our forms.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, prepare the first pass you requested, and call or email you back.
- To book, change and confirm appointments, by email and, if you agreed, by one text message.
- To keep our services secure and to stop spam and abuse.
- To improve how our assistant answers. Your conversations are not used to train AI models.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our systems for us (cloud hosting, email and calendar, telephony and text messaging, and website security), under agreements that limit their use to providing those services, or when the law requires it.
Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
Call transcripts are kept for up to 180 days and call audio for up to 30 days, then deleted. Business records about leads, appointments and projects are kept while we work together and as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@meghoo-consulting.com. We answer within 45 days.
- California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Reply STOP to any text from (833) 888-0038 to stop texts.
- You can decline call recording at the start of a call; the assistant then does not keep the conversation, and you can reach us by email instead.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who need it, and sensitive numbers such as Social Security or card numbers said on a call are removed from our records.
